Watch out if
You hate crowds. Tour A is the most popular route, so the lagoons can get busy from late morning. Book early in the day or pick a private boat to outpace the convoy.
Combine with
Tour C for a complete two-day picture of El Nido (lagoons one day, dramatic cliffs the next).
Watch out if
You came for the postcard lagoons. Tour B does not include Big Lagoon. If you only have one tour day, do A instead.
Combine with
Tour C for a strong two-day combo if you have already done Tour A, or as a recovery day after a busy schedule.
Watch out if
The sea is rough. Tour C is more exposed than A or B, so it is sometimes the first to be cancelled by the Coast Guard in bad weather. Have a backup plan.
Combine with
Tour A for the complete El Nido experience (most popular combo), or Tour D for a quieter follow-up.
Watch out if
You want the icon shots. Tour D is the least-photographed route, so visually it is more low-key than A or C.
El Nido is one of the most romantic destinations in the world. A private speedboat lets you skip the convoy entirely, set your own pace and end on a hidden beach with no one else around.
Best pick: Private speedboat + Tour A as the route
You came for the lagoons. Do Tour A. It is busy because it is genuinely the most beautiful, and skipping it is the regret travelers tell us about most often.
Best pick: Tour A
Calmer water, shorter swimming sections and child life jackets onboard make Tour D the easiest day. If you have a bigger family or special needs, a private bangka is even better.
Best pick: Tour D, or private bangka for full flexibility
Tour C has the most dramatic light and the most varied compositions: cliffs, hidden beaches, Matinloc, Helicopter. For golden-hour shots, add a private sunset extension.
Best pick: Tour C, or private with a sunset block
The reefs around Cadlao and the spots on Tour D are the healthiest in Bacuit Bay. The crew knows the best entry points and how to find the marine life.
Best pick: Tour D
If you only have one tour day in El Nido, Tour A is the answer. The combo of Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon alone justifies the trip.
One private speedboat day covering the lagoons of Tour A and the hidden beaches of Tour C. You pick 6 to 8 islands across the two routes. The only realistic way to do both in a single day.
Best for: Travelers who want maximum island coverage in one day.
One private speedboat day combining the cliffs of Tour C with the quiet reefs of Tour D. You pick 6 to 8 islands across both routes.
Best for: Travelers who want drama and calm in a single private day.

Best for
First-time visitors who want the iconic El Nido photo: Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu and 7 Commando Beach.
Travelers who want a calmer day on the water: Snake Island sandbar, Entalula Beach, Cudugnon Cave, Cathedral Cave. Easier swimming, lots of beach time.
Photographers and repeat visitors. Dramatic limestone cliffs, Helicopter Island, Hidden Beach, Secret Beach, Matinloc Shrine.
Snorkelers, families and travelers who hate crowds. Cadlao Lagoon, Paradise Beach, Pasandigan Cove, Bukal Beach, Natnat Beach.
Combine with
Tour A as the perfect contrast: the icon then the quiet escape.
Best pick: Tour A
If you have already done A, do C next. The cliffs and Helicopter Island are completely different from the lagoon scenery and feel like a new destination.
Best pick: Tour C or Tour D
Group days and celebrations work best on a private boat. You set the timing, the lunch and the beach.
Best pick: Private bangka, luxury bangka or speedboat
